This is an aggregation and news website about issues relating to privacy, ID cards, databases and surveillance. It is a short-term journalistic project exploring how technology promotes, or undermines surveillance and internet freedoms. This is not a campaign blog, nor does it cover every method of UK surveillance – that is done far more efficiently by Spyblog.
Surveillance News is run by Shona Ghosh, a freelance journalist, as part of an MA project at City University. Click here to read her personal blog, or here to find out more about her.
If you wish to write a guest post, give an interview or just want to say hello, contact her on ghosh.shona@gmail.com.
